Independence or just plain fooling ourselves

Atzmayi or Loatzmayi?

We can see that there is no truth to this at all! When they Erev Rav and Bush inc. can destroy and intimadate, threaten, beat at will... We are in trouble folks!
This day marks the Yartzeit of Am Israel!!! 60 years ago we were gathered after the holocust. And what happen then was that the Erev Rav at the will of the post Nazi Captiolist put us in a vegitable, gabanzo bean, chickpea state, Rav Brody at Lazerbeams says 'The falafel state'. This was of course until they could figure out what to do with us. Wake up and see? And you'll see if you are honest with yourselves, that is exactly where we, are on the brink of aniletion. 'The final solution' has put us in state run Getto and to slowly strangel us, and dope us with materialism and goyish music, TV, sex and drugs, and to tear our kids away from us and Torah with secularism, MTV and the like, and with the media as the tool to cause one to mistrust the other to the point of hatred. Well we have surely helped them do their job well, by sleeping on the job running after all the money, because of our lack of faith in Hashem!

The modern use of the Hebrew word atzmayi, independence or self reliant, also used today as Yom HaAtzmaut, Israeli Independence Day. The only way to be truly independent is to have Emunah, and Bitachon in Hakodosh Barachu, and in His Torah!

It seems obvious to anyone who sees clearly that there appears to be a lack of this in the world, especially in relation to the Jewish people of whom I'm a member. As we come to the second “Independence Day” since the sinful destruction of the Jewish communities of Gush Katif and the Northern Shamron, it appears more obvious every day that this is a recurring theme in our history. Now it is the seperation of the Holy city Yerushalim! and this is right out of the prophets.
Even the Christian's children of preschool age know this from Sunday school, but ask a Jew, we have no clue! Ask your self why? As a Rabbi I do not wish to fail to help all of those of want to understand, and if I have til now forgive me!

Ask yourselves are we truly independent? Or is this a deception that has been used to keep us from making trouble in the world? If we choose to take all this at face value, we would seem to have limited independence and freedom. Or, is this just an illusion? Are we fooling ourselves? I say YES!!!!!

What does it mean to be independent? Politically, economically, physically, spiritually? We can look at the first golus (exile), the Egyptian. We went because of famine, we stayed because it was comfortable, and became slaves. This appears to me to indicate dependency, not independence. And we have been trying to return to this status, as slaves, ever since.

Wake up, grow up, for we are so helplessly dependent on this world, we are so addicted to this system of things. Otherwise, we would cry out like we did in Egypt. ENOUGH!!!

We do not seem to be ready or able to admit that two thousand years of frustration, anialation and failure has caused us to become ill 'Choleh Nefesh' spiritually sick. We suffer from neuroses, the cause of which is because we are seperated from our source, the Spirit of Hashem. The root of all our souls, we are what the shrinks like to call co-dependent on the junk of this world. And as we resist reconnection to Hashem, becuase we would have to seprate from the things we are comfortable with. We yet again prove that we are not ready to be unplugged from this matrix of this world.

Someone asked me my opinion on whether to say or not to say Hallel (the great prayers of praise) in honor of tomorrow, The "Israeli Independence Day"? And I asked this question in response, “Are we truly independent?” I believe that we are in a Erev Rav, Herodian dictatorship sponsered and directly under the proxy rule of Rome (i.e. The United States and European Union), and if this is the case then maybe we are making a bracha (the blessing for the great praise) in vain? Instead I believe that we should be sitting and mourning in sack cloth and ashes and saying Kaddish, as did Yerimah and Mordechi. There was almost a lynch.

But dont be discoruaged by all this, Yesh ma l'asot! 'There is what to do'! Our forefathers set the example of the correct course of action, With strong Emunah and Bitacon 'faith and trust' we cry out to our Father in Heaven, AS we did in Egypt.

We have started and online petition here at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/yeshmalasot/

As well as a phsyical one here in Israel, yes Reb Akiva and Reb Nati are out on the streets video camera in hand and in coming days you'll see, All in the hopes of that we can gather, tens upon tens of thousands of names to take to the Rebbeim of this dor 'generation' to demand that they, that they as our leaders, take the apropirate action, and Declare and end to this Galus now! So if you care and you dare to join us stand up now and be counted among the minyans of Hashem, As Yehoshua Ben Nun said 'As for me and my house we shall serve Hashem.'

We need to realize that we are all dependant on Hashem or we would not exist for one moment. It is only those who can see and understand this that are truly independent in this world. So prove it Now!!!

Shalom and blessing

Shabbos Shirah

Shabbos Shirah for us Breslover's was and is a special Shobbos. in the time of the Rebbe all the Chasidim would come to breslov to hear the Torah of Rebbenu. This was always a time of Him giving over a lession so if at home or on his travels the chasidim would come to hear. The major lessions given on these shabbosim were; Likutey Moharon #9 in 5563, #38 in 5562, #62 in 5565, #71 in 5570 . Some say the story, Master of Prayer was also taught on shabbos shirah. On Shabbos Shirah 5563, Likutey Moharan 9 was said while traveling. In it the Rebbe dicussed prayer Based on the pasuk from shemos 15:5 connecting it with the Torah reading of the day. the Rebbe himself wrote down the lession . During this time the Rebbbe saw a vision of the Baal Shem Tov, and gave over the concepts of the lession's of #9, 112, and said they were connected with the vision.

Another time on Shabbos Shirah 5565, the Rebbe was in Medvedevka. His daughter Chaya was four years old. (she later was to marry the grandson of the Baal HaTanya). She had a stye in her eye and was in much discomfort. The Rebbe then taught the Lession 62. Which speaks of the "Beautiful Maiden" that had no eyes". Through this she was healed.

This week we were to say parsha Hmann, a sequla for parnasah. and this is the Shabbos that we read the song at the sea.

"It happened that when Paroh sent out the people that Hashem didn't take them by the land by the way of the Philistines, for it was near,..." R'Chananel cited by R' Bachya, there is another reason for the decision to lead the nation through the desert. Hashem wanted us to be in circumstances where we would constantly see nissim in order to survive. this would be our schooling in emunah. We would see through the manna, the well of water, the constant protection from the elements clouds of glory, and so on, That the overwhelming presence of Hashem, and His omniprescent and that He is all powerful. as a result of this national historical fact. We would have what to look back at, and know, "that all is in His hands". The lession is that our survival is impossible without Divine intervention. As is evident now as we stand at the gate of geula. 'On only Him can we and must rely'.

Reb Nosson says in Likutey Halchot, on this parsha. Hashem took them around about way, Rashi says that he turn them from the short simple to crooked longer way? Before the light there is darkness. And before the geula there is suffering. and before Eretz Israel there is galut.

"How is it possible that Hashem can send us so far from Him, and expect us to follow Him? It is that WE CHOOSE, with our free choice to serve and follow Him! Even when we are down and low, and even here in Israel when we are so far from His Torah even now today we live in the land and govern ourselves like goim.

How is it that we can miss His hand in our lives? It is night, the darkest of all the nights and the dawn is coming we just have to wait a bit longer.
The things that Are happening Here are hard but we must focus on the truth, that He and He alone supports and protect us.

What this week happened to me and others is real, and if I were not a man of emunah I would have been really worried, If here with all the kedusah we can not manage, How does He expect us in Galut to survive spiritually? You see we are on a mission to collect all the sparks that have been spread throughout the world and bring them back here to Him. We were never meant to stay in Hutz laretz we could and can end the galut now if we choose! The the people that are in katnut (spiritual comma) the galut are not able to take out the sparks by themselves, because of sin and lack of faith, someone who is tamei and dirty and down in the mud of this world is now part and parcel of the mud. 'He in effect is the mud'. He needs an 'Ish kosher the Tzaddik Emet, the Tzaddik of the Dor', he who is clean and clear of mind, only he can to raise up all the people, (ie. someone who is in prison can't release himself it takes someone to let him out). He alone has the power to release and raise up the people with these sparks. That's why Hashem took us on the round about way so as to raise up all the sparks. All the battles and trails in the midbar were for us at this time to look back at and strengthen ourselves to stand the test of fire that is coming. Please Hashem help us on the day we call!

I ask all of you to join us here in prayer for the seven young girls who are being tortured for their faith. and to strengthen the Tzaddkim of the Dor, as to help them to release us from the mud.

Shabbot Shalom from Eli

waiting for the sign

Yes, we are waiting for sign. And this is it! Pure and simple as a pimple. Nothing more nothing less. It is written in the Nach (biblical prophets), "If you will but return to me I will return to you!" We must return! He is waiting for the sign, and this is it: "our return"!

Hashem is WAITING FOR US!!! We are the ones extending this! We must show Him the sign, not wait for Him to show us!

It is written in Kol HaTor (by Rabbi Moskolav z"l, the chief student of the Gra zt"l) that all the signs are past and it is now up to us! That was over 200 years ago.

If we could but remember Him, he would remember us! We talk here about a partial remembrance and full remembrance, these are speaking of us remembering. Haval, we we can not wake up! Please Hashem, please help us to remember. Please help us to call out to you. Please Borei HaOlam, please!!! "ABBA ten lanu rachamim."

If we were but to cry out and ask, each of us, for Him to help us... You see all of this is on us. This galus is unlike the previous ones; in this that it has no expiration date. Galus Mitzraym 400 years, galus Baval 70 years. You see we could have ended this the day after the Horban Mikdash (destruction of the Temple), but we are spiritually asleep. We need to wake up, each one of us! We have to decide which are we: Dor Midbar or Dor Geula (generation in the desert or generation of redemption). It's up to us.

We didn't make it the first time, so we have come back in this generation to fix the problem. In truth it really is up to each one of us. Ask yourself, saying "hey self, are you ready too continue in the mess that we are in or are we gonna jump up and say maspik (enough)??? Enough, we're ready, we're waiting we're returning to You now!!

And now WE say "I mean now you have to return to us"!!! Ribono Shel Olam, we are done suffering in this misery!!!

And HE says:

"OH daughter of Zion how long are you gonna sit in the dust, rise up and shake of the chains for I have unlocked them. Put off your sack cloth and wash yourselves and get ready for the feast, put on your wedding gowns for I long to reunite with you!! Please I am waiting here for you!!!"

You see it doesn't have to take earth shattering events "unless you like to suffer". We can end this, this year and sit in Yerushalayim and shout "this year in Jerusalem" . Just trust in Him, He's doing it all for us, and in reality we have no choice but to believe and come and perform His will. 3 times a year for all males are to come to Jerusalem and stand before Him. Let's not wait until Shavous, let's meet Him for the Korban Pesach!

Thanks for all the support and remember, kemach d' pischa, the geluah comes through the miztvah of tzedakah (charity), so please give and receive a blessing knowing that you made it possible for those who wouldn't have had otherwise.

A guten chodesh (a good new month!) have and kosher and joyful Pesach (Passover),
Reb Nati
