Waking up

When have you woke up and realized your whole life is a lie?
Well, everyday that your first thought is not Modeh Ani, is a lie as we will see.

We really have to get into our heads that this life, in this body is just an avatar our souls animate our body. The body we are told, is a golem and only slightly resembles our soul so when we look in the mirror we see a very blurred and distorted version of our real selves.

Our struggle in this state is to be aware and to stay aware of this fact and to as hard as it is, to focus on our real true mission here. You see this is a wonderful world if you view it from reality, it is a Gan Eden. But if you fall into the distraction, then it is a living hell of Gehenom.

You and I choose multiple times a day in which way we will to view it. It has been simplified by the rabbi’s who have shown us the right and correct way to connect to the ‘real’ the ‘alive’ instead of the ‘dead’ of the lie. The structure of our prayers and our learning are designed to help us to from the minute we wake up till we go to sleep focus on the Tachilit the, Emeser Emes, the truth of truth.
It not easy, even, for those of us who have made it our whole lives’ goal. Just to try and stay focused; we find it at times very difficult to interact with others and events of this world. The World around us by design was to be a perfect place in which every interaction was to be a total reminder of the One who made it. He desired our presence just so He could commune as it were with His children. He longed through the ageless eternity to have essence.

He created us so that we would choose to be, and to commune with Him. Many of us fall and return daily from this level of consciousness. For some this is hourly. Our hope should be to increase the rate at which we are conscious. These flashes are the result of the constant struggle to remain attached to the source of all the truth and the life. This is our sustenance and our very ‘soul’ lives depend on our attachment to this source.  But sadly to say there are those of us who have just given up and have chosen to just fall asleep and let our time run out. This hospice mentality is a deadly one, just to stay spiritually drugged up until the end. There are two levels of chesder, or concealment.
One is a chesder within a chesder, concealment within a concealment, and this is where most of the world is holding today.

This is the worst situation of all where they do not even realize that they are in a comatose spiritual vegetative state. There is no hope of waking without the greatest of professors i.e. Tzaddik Emes coming and pulling them out of this state. Then there is just a single concealment and this where, the rest of us are. In this state we know vaguely, as we are wake sometimes and asleep at others, we have glimpses of understanding, and later remembering that we are phasing in and out of consciousness. In this state we also need the Tzaddik to come and help us to stay awake. If we at one of these alert times see and find ourselves by the tzaddik then we have grab him and cling to him. Only he can help us and teach us how to remain in a state of consciousness. It takes total commitment and stubbornness to cling to him.

The whole point of the story of our Exodus from Egypt is to be an example of our coming from this spiritual coma the 49th level, of spiritual unawareness to a state of spiritual alertness of the 50th level. The whole the example of this is to show us those who clung to the Tzaddik ‘Moshe Rabbenu’ and thus were attentive and succeeded in entering the land and the reverse is also true it shows the failure of those who wished to remain spiritually asleep.

Our history as a people is replete with examples of both cases.   At this late hour we really need to review the text of our Exodus and learn from it the sublime essence of the story, which is to cling to and to be bitul to the Tzaddik Ha Emes. The whole of the Torah is to explain to us how to remain awake and enjoy the beautiful garden we are here to tend. May it Hashem’s will that many be awakened at this time in a manner which is both gentle and lasting. May the essence of this truth alive and quicken us in anticipation of our forth coming and final Redemption, May it be soon and may be ready for it, Amen

'Sound the Shofar of Faith'

Remember very, very well, every single day, what is being done with us in This World. For we have come to This World at this time; in the sevenith year of seventh century of the sixth millennium, and very soon Hashem willing the Geula will unfold, as we are now at 5770, and there is now only the 20 years, til the begining of ressurection of the dead, according to the latest date of, 210 years before the end. we are close, please Hashem!

It has been now nearly 200 years, since a very unique individual, and we are called by his name, of blessed memory Rebbe Nachnan of Bresslev. We who were once the most wretched and scorned among the Holy people of Israel themselves are now the torch bearers in this generation, may we be worthy. Remember this and take it to heart! Strengthen yourselves and be brave! It is no insignificant matter! As a result of this we are obligated to thank and praise Hashem's great and awesome Name, that He has saved us from the great heresy and delusion that now abounds in the world today. It is only by His loving grace that we have been saved from this error and confusion at a time such as this! Do look at the news it will make you dizzy!

So what can we give back to Hashem for all the good He has shown us? This alone should encourage you, as I write this it is only written with Hashem's salvation and help and with tears, If you only knew... And now too, my heart is filled with tears and with boundless joy over everything that I and that every one of you suffer, collectively and individually, 'for this is to cleanse us'. For I know from a distance the soul's pain of every single one of you. What can I say? IF only you knew. Deep sigh, OY!

If I wanted to tell you,... that all of what one hears and sees, as one travels through different places, and happenings... a thousand pages would not be enough. And through all of this, that we all go through we still "desire to fear your Name" and deep in our hearts we are all crying out very, very bitterly over how far we are from our ultimate purpose. 'But all of us like birds are all trapped', 'and like those overcome by a floods'... With all the urges and negative character traits espeacally 'the preoccupation', with earning a livelihood, which is all the while getting harder to do! "The lust for money, and power, and honor, and not to mention the other lust, is becoming stronger all the time. And worse yet and beyond everything else, the most painful thing of all is to see that most of us have become terribly discouraged with ourselves and have given up completely, saying "there is no hope" and "there is no one to help", as if it is no longer possible for them to think properly about "HATACHLIT" 'the true purpose of this life', and for a number of reasons, it is impossible for them to raise themselves up. The main reason being, is the great controversy that surrounds us, the world has become so conveluted and twisted. It is all because of This Galut, that they are unable to receive and nurse from the sweet nectar, the lovely, pure words of awesome truth that give life to all and inspire all the fallen souls, as it is written in the lesson "Sound the Shofar of Faith" (likutey Moharan II,5).
Check Spelling
So it is imparetive to remember, and remember well, all the loving kindness and miracles that Hashem has done for us, everyday! You may not, very well not know, how much a person must out of nessesaty strengthen himself every minute! As our master, and teacher and Rebbe, of blessed memory, cried out in a deep, strong voice, "GEVALT!"... "AIN SHUM YEUSH BOLAM KLAL"! Please do not give up on yourselves! There is no such thing as despair in this world at all! The main thing is to strengthen ourselves to be joyful in all, and by any means you can, and know that Hashem will and, can help you, and know He is the only one who can . We need to but reach out to Him and cry out and pray! Let us rejoice in His salvation alone!

Shalom

Hakaras Hatov, A New Gift from Hashem

Each everyday is a new day entirely new creation, it has and will never exist again ever. So everyday is a new start and an opportunity to start all over again. Rosh HaShanah is a time to resolve to be better in the coming year. Rosh Chodesh is as well a time to start a fresh the coming month each of these are imbued with special energy to regenerate life. However, it is important to remember that not everything happens at once. "One who grabs a little at a time will be successful' (Sukkah 5b).

With this said I now want to focus on the most fundamental truth in living a the Emunah life style, and the most difficult challenge we face. That being to to focus only on today. today is the time of Avodas Hashem, we can not serve Hashem yesterday as it is spent. We can not serve Hashem tomarrow, for it is not as yet here. So the only time to serve Hashem is today 'the now'. This is one of the reasons that the mishnah in Avos (1:10) teaches us "To love work." refering to avodas Hashem. "To love your work'' means to get absorbed in what you do, with the proper focus and attention. in short to give it your full and complete attention.

Everyday is a new opportunity to grow and develop in many ways. We can develop our intitiative and enthusiasm to enjoy every new day that Hashem sends our way. The challenge we have is to realize that every single morning Hashem bestows upon us a new day. If we internalize this reality, we can developed more energy, zest, and ongoing joy that can keep us going throughout the entire day. When we say the words ,"He renews, with His goodness, everyday, the work of His creation," we should be very thankful and grateful for the new day, a new gift from Hashem.

One of the great benefits of focusing on a new day is the feeling that you have a choice. You can strive to make it a great day, and Hashem will help you to succeed, for "on the path one is determined to go, he will be led" (Makkos 10b). It is all up to you, it is in your hands!

Hashem gives us many chances to start over, to improve and do better. Each and every morning we get a fresh start, a chance to begin again. This is why we Breslever's are always happy this is is fundamental in the teachings Rebbe Nachman to be 'B'Simcha tamid'. we are not carrying the heavy wagon of yesterday and the loaded pack of tomarrow. Hashem keeps sending opportunities knocking at the our door. we must not ignore them!

We can always utilize our lives to serve Hashem. Act now! Prayer is always considered 'timely'.

Our attiude is most important aspect of our life. Even if the blessings are flowing all around us if we dont have the right attitude, we can lose the opportunity to benefit from these. think on this "A good heart is always at a banquet" (Mishlei 15:15) i.e. one with a good heart is always happy. Hashem loves us and desires to help us. Act as if Hashem will help you and He will. Look for the posetive results and Hashem will help you. like we say in Yiddish "Tracht gut, vet zein gut, Think good and it will be good". As we get up in the morning and get our wits about us, we should run to pray, in order to ask Hashem to please help us see the blessings and to have a successful day serving Him.

In Hebrew, the phrase for giving thanks is 'Hakaras Hatov', recognizing the good. Hashem is the only creator and controller of the entire universe. Everything else is His creation. One of the basic fundamental teachings of the Torah is that we are obligated to "repay" our benefactor for every benefit we receive, by recognizing and thanking Him. Thus, every morning we must remember to be grateful for the sun, example of a daily benefit that we take for granted, as we just assume that it will be there, and express our gratitude for it to the creator. In the morning praises we say "With Your great mercy, have mercy on us." Why? We are pleading with Hashem specifically to open our eyes to see His creation, so we do not waste our lives , living in spiritual darkness. In this light we have to understand that thankfulness is not limited to just Hashem for allowing us to view His creation and to experience His amazing world. The Mishanh (Avos 1:6) teaches that friends are so valuable that we should 'buy' them. If you have a friend who lights up your day then take time to thank Hashem for him. just an example of all that we can be thankful for the list is endless, you can fill in the blanks.

Hakaras hatov is very important. While a person may truly be humble and tell you there is no need to thank him for all the favor he has shown you it is nevertheless, a fundamental Torah obligation to express our thanks. In this way, we begin to train ourselves to remember also to thank the ultimate Giver Hashem. With this we can change the very nature of the world!

Thank you Hashem for being able to pray and to write what was on my heart today as an expression of my thankfulness to You.

Ha Orrat Purim 'The Lights of Purim'

Mamar : כל המועדים בטלים וימי הפורים לא נבטלים"
(הלכות נחלות הלכה דHilkhot chalakha daled
Acording to the Torah, " say to the Cohanim", simon bet look there at all this Torah על פי התורה ''אמר אל הכהמנו בסימן ב' עין שם כל התורה

The main thing is prayer. "for all the wars of the Moshiach will be won through prayer" "and the main weapon of Moshiach is prayer" "and all his conquering is from this". Rebbe Nachaman also brings down here that, and we see there, that Yosef the Tzaddik was shomer Habrit and from this he merited the B'chor, the rights of the frist born. For he was not Yaakov's frist born but he was Rachel first born. For He the B'chor is the aspect of Avodahs Ha Tefilla 'the service of prayer'. for the B'chor receives a double portion. Rebbe Nachaman brings down that a person prays more for his b'chor, before a person has his first born, he prays for him, and all his other children come from this prayer, so the B'chor is the aspect of prayer.

This double portion is a an aspect of prayer, because the there is the order of Ho da ah, thankgiving and praising Hashem and b'kasha, a person asking Hashem for what he needs. Two aspects of prayer.

And this is the aspect of Purim, the subjegation of 'Haman-Amalek'. and this is what Raba bar Chana said... "because in this 'golus' that we are enduring at this very minute, and that Raba bar Chana is speaking in his time, it is one and the same. "That Hashem has turned his face from us". Even at his time. All of our requests and prayers and or crying out and in our hisbodeut all of this is, because of 'Hester Panim' the turning away of the face. And now when we see the length of this golus, and that it seems to not be ending. And that we are asking for him to return to us. And everyday when we call out and nothing is happening, it seems as our prayers are for nothing.

"Penei ali" Return to us! We feel some times that our prayers are for nothing. But in truth not one word is waisted. All the ours prayers are taken by the Tzaddikim. They take them and build and establish them and put them in their place. Like Moshe who built up the Miskan by arranging it in order so that the Shekinah could dwell there in it. And the Moshiach and the Tzaddik are an aspect of Moshe. The Tzaddik of the generation elevates an assembles these prayers in the proper order and he arrangeds them into their proper places, so that he builds the Beis Ha Mikdash and the Moshiach will come. And there are those who are confused and think that their prayers are not going up. That there are no fruit to the prayers, they are wrong they are raised and warmed and ripend. In truth they all go up every singal prayer goes up through the Beis Ha mikdash, the al gather there and are beam up from there. And now that there is no Mikdash the prayers go up at the kevrey graves of the great Tzaddikim. And every word is gathered and transformed into a building block of the Mikdash. They all raise to the throne of glory and they all led to the building of the Beis Ha Mikdash. speedly in our days quickly amen.

When this is complete and formed for the place of the Shekinah is completed through prayer then Hashem will bring the Emes Rachim, He will turn over the 'Midah of Din' to the 'Midah of Rachim' this is the aspect of mercy a person has to know. We are taught by Chazal that through our prayers that the Beis Ha Mikdash is built, But we need understand and to know that when the Mikdash is built it is, and only through the mercy of Hashem. Because everything we receive is only a unmerited, a free, undeserved gift from Hashem. Even though we have to pray for it and the Mikdash is rebuilt only by and through our prayer in the end it will only be by, Chasdei Hashem, it will not be as it were a payment for our prayers. Its is only the Chesed of Hashem. In the same way that this works for the kal for Am Israel, it also works in the prat, in our personal geula and any one that spends time in service to Hashem, ie. in prayer and requests and thanks giving will see this, that we have to pray and we receive Yehshuot, the salvations we need to know that it was not us but only Hashem mercy.

That Hashem will turn to us and bring us close to him and reveal the Tzaddik to us. It is only from Hashem that we even desire to come close to Him. When we merit to come close to him through our hisbodeut and he relieves us from our tivot and 'Middot ha rah', our base lusts and when we see that it was Hashem that has let us spend a lot of time in prayer. A person might make the mistake and think that he is not doing anything. In truth there is no word or one sigh that gets waisted. They truly make a huge mark and impression, and the Tzaddik takes them and builds these incredible beautiful buildings from them. They are the aspect of the Miskan all of us have to strengthen ourselves and know that it does not matter how speak or what speech we use to call out Hashem, the simple prayers are the best, we need not be elogent, but simple from the heart, in short the truth!

The whole of it is we have to just keep Davining and Davining 'praying' to Hashem as we are creating material to help the Tzaddikim to build. We supply the tzaddik with the 'Chomer' the materials they need to build the Mikdash. the greatest blocks of gold and jewels are made with just our simple prayers.

But Haman-Amalek he is all of the kilpot and Sitra Atra. Where does all this doubt come from that our prayers are of no use? They come from the heresy of Haman-Amlek he poisons our Daat by telling us that we can not help and that our prayers are useless and that there is nothing we can do. It's hopeless 'Ain ma la sot' how is is it possible that a person can pray and not believe in his prayers? It only comes from Haman-Amalek!!!

The power and the miricle of Purim, the Neis of Purim, is the greatest of miricles it is bigger than kias Yam Sof. Bigger than Matan Torah. The down fall of Haman-Amalek is the highest of the higheast of day, of the year. Why is the golus so long and so so bitter? It is all from the power of Haman-Amalek. Galut Edom for amalek is of the seed of Edom. Why? Why is it so bitter because we do not believe in our prayers! He seduces us into doubt all of the Tivot and the Middot Rahot all come from Haman-Amalek. Midrash Tehumah, in parshas Balak says that Haman-Amalek only comes from the Middot Rahot of not seeing the good, of ungratefulness! This is what empowers and calls him to attack us. He comes and tells us that there is no good. And it is this, this lie, keeps us from seeing the good makes the golus so much more bitter our 'Pegam b'Daat' our defect in our understanding adds to, and lengthens the golus and the lengthening of the golus weakens our prayers, it distances us from Hashem, we must not prepetuate this cycle, we must break the cycle. Because of all the bitterness makes us less confdent to stand up to him and pray and believe. It is a cycle that must not repeat itself. All the trickery and deceit he uses, if it were not for Hashem fighting Amalek himself we could not stand! Hashem in his great compassion sends to us Tzaddik, but we do not want to connect to him, it is only by Tzaddik telling us to not to give up, that we can keep going! Amalek knows this and he knows we are close to the end, and he only comes when we get close to the end. When we can make it, he comes to stop us Haman came only at the very end. everyone miscalculated the time of the End. When we were so close, then he comes to stop us. he says it can not be done give up. But when we know that this in and of it's self is a sign, to strengthen ourselves and carry on as the End is very close. But as we are scattard and seperated in our belielf. It's only by this lack of 'Achdut' Onesness we are defeated. We need to pull together and wake up. Haman came and told the king "their God is sleeping and is not coming to save them". Only by our prayers can we awaken Hashem's Rachim. We know, that He that keeps Israel never slumbers and He does not sleep. but He faithfuly watches over us! But it is just that he has turned his face away from us, so it appears that He is sleeping. Haman the wicked came and said to us that our G-d is sleeping, "see he's not coming to help you", He's not answering you, give up! The truth is there is no such thing that Hashem is sleeping it is only the Middat HaDin. We must awaken His Rachim then he will as it were return to us. There is no way to wake Him up, Haman said there is no such thing as Emunah! When we lengthen the golus we fall and say why, only because of this that Amalek tells us that it is over. But the Torah strongly warns us to remember what Amalek did to us on the way. this is a remez to all the history that he will constantly attack or faith. There are 6 things to remember that which Amalek did to us the 1st is that he came to cool off our heart he tried to convince us that every thing is just chance and there is not divine providence. and he cooled us off. We need to be on fire and warm to serve Hashem, but if he can cause a doubt then we become tired and we became tired of praying, So we did not fear Hashem they weaken our Daat remember it well what they have done to you in every generation! Not to believe in our prayers! Listen to the warning of the Tzaddikim Never give up and never stop believing in the power of prayer! Not only is he trying to tell us that Hashem has never helped you, that he has not even began to hear you, he has not and will not redeem you. They want us to forget Hashem! we are falling a sleep, so many of us are falling asleep, and worse, into the coma that we can not wake from. We need to only stay awake, and the only way to do it is to just to say thank you! The power of saying thank you can destory Haman-Amalek it is a spiritual nuke, because it is easy and simple just to today say thank you Hashem. Thank you for what he's done today, not yesterday we are only just trying to stay awake we are in spiritual hypotheremia we are cold.

On Purim we need to drink and get warm and Remember all that Hashem has done for us! That is why we need to read the Megillah every year as if it was happening now. We know that if we read the megillah as if it is a history then we have not fulfilled our obligation.

Rebbenu tells us that Hashem is constantly with us! "I never left you! I give you everything you need! If you think you lack somthing it is only that which you do not need! I"m doing right now miriciles to save you from that which you do not even know! So how can you doubt me? I give you everything I supply you with all! You lack nothing! Today you have all that I know that you need." Please wake up and thank Hashem! Are you alive? Then it is a mirical! Are you breathing? It's a Neis! Thank Hashem! It is only thought the Tzaddikim, Moshe and Mordechai that can wake us! Was it the hands of Moshe that saved us? Or was it us the Jews looking to Hashem? when we look not to our own strength or someone elses but to Hashem's strength, in us, in our power of prayer. As soon as we surrender to Hashem in prayer He comes and imedatey, He comes and saves us! Just look up to the Heavens this is the only way to defeat Haman-Amalek.

Happy purim we should merit through our dancing and joy to destroy Haman-Amalek Today once and for all! Amen.

Just as we have to give to any one who asks us on Purim, if we ask of Hashem then he is bound to give us! What do you have to lose? Ask and He will grant you your desire. Be carful not to waist this Purim on only being drunk but use it to elevate you Daat to understand all that Hashem wants from us. this is the key to the Geulah, open the door and just walk in

Why Tanis Of Esther?

Esther's fast.

When we have Emunah in Hashem, and Emunah in the Tzaddik and Faith in ourselves we have no need to fast (Liktey Moharan II, 86; Rabbi Nachaman's wisdom #140).

Let's for the sake of conversation for a moment just let go of this life this earthly life. Let's mentally leave behind all the earthly goals and take leave of the material all our worldly aspirations to raise above all the transient temporal desires all of them riches power, pleasures, prestiage, all of this 'the olam' the world we live in with all of it's t'aivah 'lusts' and enter a more permanent eternal, more meaningful exisitance. To a state of life where there is solitude, to a place where we can see the vainity of 'this normal life' to a vantage point from where we can see the total futility of the this world and this life, with it's social standards and it's peer presures. We rise to a perspective to where we can clearly see the futality of and insanity of a "Jewishness practiced only to attain empty vain goals of such a life. from this point, detacted from from and unmoved by these earthly goals, it's only from this eternal panorama that we can focus on the the "Ultimate goal of the life", 'THE EMET' And from here, undisturbed by the distraction of the transient, vanity of this world, we can concetrate enough to yearn for and long for and come in touch with the deepest longing of our real selves our souls and it's only desire that being to cleave to Hashem, to be one with our source. From here we can can see the and feel the harmony of creation with our souls we then can sing in the this celestral symphony. Our souls sing all in unision, they sing they parts their song to Hashem the master of all. And at this point we can experience Hashem only and we can only manifest Him... This is Joy... and now we can only stay here for a short while, in this ecstatic moment, feeling no experiencing a fortaste of the life eternal. This is the goal that we each long for. and now as we begin to return from reallity to this temporary experience that we call life this earthly relm, we want to take all this that we have gain the insights and all the feelings we have had, ingest them and let them enter deep into our souls so that whem we return to our fleshly material selves we will remember what we saw and learned and now that we are back here in this reality that hides the truth to this mundane, we promise ourselves that we will stay above these earthly goals that we will stay awake and aware of the truth and that we will always focus on the the ultimate goal of this exisitance in every thing we do. But most of us aren't really yet to make this leap of faith. we are are distracted and overwelmed by the colors tastes and sounds of this earthly life that we identifty so strongly with this earthly life, that we afre unable to unplug, that without it we see no point in living. we feel earthly goals are all there is and to give them up is to be left with nothing. this begs at us in it's self it asks, Who are we?... What is life?... and where is Hashem? What is my part if any in this?

We can never answer these objective questions as long as we are blinded by the subjective needs. by those desires for riches... and pleasures.. power and prestige... these were all that Haman and Achashverosh had and longed for. The earthly he ruled over the whole world. They had it all, but what? They wanted more they wanted, what the Jews had too. To answer these questions we need to set our sights on the 'ultimate goal' to be able to even catch a glimpse to be able to even set our sights we need to the Tzaddik who can help us raise above the earhtly goals.
We must connect and link to the the Tzaddik who has no subjective goals, who can answer our questions and guide us to the ultimate goal. we must follow and relate to his teachings, and allow the to restructure our lives a refocusing as it where. But to do this we must have faith in the tzaddik and in ourselves, but it is only through the tzaddik that we can begin to have faith in ourselves this in turn builds our faith in the tzaddik that he knows the true answers and that we can raise to the goal. and we ourselves must take the frist step of showing our desire, because by doing so Hashem sees that we seek the truth and He will guide us to the tzaddik. But until then, we are as blind to the tzaddik as we are of the ultimate goal (Likutey Halakhot, Hilchos shabbos 6:3).
And in the time of Haman, as is the case now, we had lost faith in the tzaddik, we ignored Mordechai's plea not to attend the orgy. We had lost faith in ourselves that being that we could withstand temptaion and raise above, to the goal (Likutey Halakhot, Yibum 3:15).

So Esther decreed a fast she enjoined us to make a vow (Rokeach, Esther). She told us to raise above the need to eat she proclaimed a 3 day fast. and making the vow to fast, we showed our desire to transend the earthly needs. We showed faith in ourselves, that we could and would keep the fast. Hashem them helped us to see that we really do not need all those "needs". And He brought us in touch with the Tzaddik with Mordechai who could then tell us the truth about ourselves. Who are we What is life and where is Hashem. And then we will have no need to fast. Rather, at the Purim Banquet we can serve Hashem with feasting and drinking even more than we serve Him with fasting (Likutey Morharan I, 58:2-6 also Lm II, 86). Beacuse the The "ULTIMATE" GOAL IS EARTHLY SERVICE. BUT WE MUST FAST TO GET THERE. So every year on the eve of Purim, we keep Esther's fast.

Tzom cal, Happy Purim from Reb Nati and family from the Holy city of Jerusalem.

"And they believed in Hashem and in His servant
Moshe" (Shmos 14:31).

The midrash tells us: "whoever believes in Hashem is as if he believes in the true shepherd Moshe, and whoever believes in the true shepherd is as if he believes in Hashem, Creator of the world" (Mechilta, Beshalach).

The Talmud teaches: The Torah is acquired by means of 48 qualities. One of these is emunas chachamim, "faith in the tzaddikim" (Avot 6:6)

The vast majority of these qualities focus on one's diligence and efforts in pursuing Torah study and rectifying bad character traits. However right in the middle of all of these 48 is faith in the tzaddikim. The Tzaddikim are the ones who transmit the Torah to us, so without faith in their teachings we will never be able to acquire the Torah. That being the case, of what value is intellectual pursuit and diligent study?

An integral part of achieving faith in Hashem is by having faith in the tzaddik. After all, how can we with our defective sechal (intellect) and lack of Daat (knowledge, but knowledge of truth) in this ever confusing and changing world ever hope to come to choosing right from wrong, what is correct? How do we chose from pure and tamei (impure), kosher from traif (non-kosher)? For leading us through the confusion we have to rely on the Tzaddik.

These righteous individuals they who have risen above the mundane and physical restraints and limitations of the defective human sechal (intellect), they know. We can rely on them in much the same way as a child relies on a parent, to whom he look up as all knowing.

"Most sea men are Chassidim" (Talmud Kiddushin 82a). "This is because they are in constant danger and are always turning to Hashem" (Rashi) We can relate this to the crossing of the sea of reeds. The Jews believed in Moshe and followed him across. The sea was split like walls raising between the tribes, symbolic of the "sea of Knowledge" too dangerous to navigate across without the proper tools and navigational aides- these are the advice of the Tzaddik who guides us on the proper course.

Pharaoh on the other hand did not have any belief, he felt that he had the tools with which to cross on his own. As is the case today, with Artscroll and the many translations and incredible volume of holy seforim (Torah books), we have a ready access to the deep Ocean of the Torah. Yet we have to be even more careful than before as we sit at home without a Rav to teach us (with the rav was the only way until recent generations).

We must be aware that we are not properly equipped, and turn to those who are. Otherwise G-d forbid, like Pharaoh being ill trained and ill equipped to handle the turbulent sea, the walls came crashing down upon him and the Mitzrim [Egyptians] (Likutey Halakhot, Netilat Yadayim Li'seudah 6:39).

Rebbe Nachman said, From me you can begin to get a glimpse of the greatness of Hashem" (Tzaddik #284).

The Tzaddik is one who has attained Torah and has acquired Ruach HaKodesh (divine inspiration/insight). With faith in the Tzaddikim, they can help us achieve greatness in spirituality and closeness to Hashem.

"Even mentioning their names helps us draw from their Holiness." (Likutey Halakhot, Netilat Yadayim li'Seudah 4:6)

Shabbos Shirah

Shabbos Shirah for us Breslover's was and is a special Shobbos. in the time of the Rebbe all the Chasidim would come to breslov to hear the Torah of Rebbenu. This was always a time of Him giving over a lession so if at home or on his travels the chasidim would come to hear. The major lessions given on these shabbosim were; Likutey Moharon #9 in 5563, #38 in 5562, #62 in 5565, #71 in 5570 . Some say the story, Master of Prayer was also taught on shabbos shirah. On Shabbos Shirah 5563, Likutey Moharan 9 was said while traveling. In it the Rebbe dicussed prayer Based on the pasuk from shemos 15:5 connecting it with the Torah reading of the day. the Rebbe himself wrote down the lession . During this time the Rebbbe saw a vision of the Baal Shem Tov, and gave over the concepts of the lession's of #9, 112, and said they were connected with the vision.

Another time on Shabbos Shirah 5565, the Rebbe was in Medvedevka. His daughter Chaya was four years old. (she later was to marry the grandson of the Baal HaTanya). She had a stye in her eye and was in much discomfort. The Rebbe then taught the Lession 62. Which speaks of the "Beautiful Maiden" that had no eyes". Through this she was healed.

This week we were to say parsha Hmann, a sequla for parnasah. and this is the Shabbos that we read the song at the sea.

"It happened that when Paroh sent out the people that Hashem didn't take them by the land by the way of the Philistines, for it was near,..." R'Chananel cited by R' Bachya, there is another reason for the decision to lead the nation through the desert. Hashem wanted us to be in circumstances where we would constantly see nissim in order to survive. this would be our schooling in emunah. We would see through the manna, the well of water, the constant protection from the elements clouds of glory, and so on, That the overwhelming presence of Hashem, and His omniprescent and that He is all powerful. as a result of this national historical fact. We would have what to look back at, and know, "that all is in His hands". The lession is that our survival is impossible without Divine intervention. As is evident now as we stand at the gate of geula. 'On only Him can we and must rely'.

Reb Nosson says in Likutey Halchot, on this parsha. Hashem took them around about way, Rashi says that he turn them from the short simple to crooked longer way? Before the light there is darkness. And before the geula there is suffering. and before Eretz Israel there is galut.

"How is it possible that Hashem can send us so far from Him, and expect us to follow Him? It is that WE CHOOSE, with our free choice to serve and follow Him! Even when we are down and low, and even here in Israel when we are so far from His Torah even now today we live in the land and govern ourselves like goim.

How is it that we can miss His hand in our lives? It is night, the darkest of all the nights and the dawn is coming we just have to wait a bit longer.
The things that Are happening Here are hard but we must focus on the truth, that He and He alone supports and protect us.

What this week happened to me and others is real, and if I were not a man of emunah I would have been really worried, If here with all the kedusah we can not manage, How does He expect us in Galut to survive spiritually? You see we are on a mission to collect all the sparks that have been spread throughout the world and bring them back here to Him. We were never meant to stay in Hutz laretz we could and can end the galut now if we choose! The the people that are in katnut (spiritual comma) the galut are not able to take out the sparks by themselves, because of sin and lack of faith, someone who is tamei and dirty and down in the mud of this world is now part and parcel of the mud. 'He in effect is the mud'. He needs an 'Ish kosher the Tzaddik Emet, the Tzaddik of the Dor', he who is clean and clear of mind, only he can to raise up all the people, (ie. someone who is in prison can't release himself it takes someone to let him out). He alone has the power to release and raise up the people with these sparks. That's why Hashem took us on the round about way so as to raise up all the sparks. All the battles and trails in the midbar were for us at this time to look back at and strengthen ourselves to stand the test of fire that is coming. Please Hashem help us on the day we call!

I ask all of you to join us here in prayer for the seven young girls who are being tortured for their faith. and to strengthen the Tzaddkim of the Dor, as to help them to release us from the mud.

Shabbot Shalom from Eli

Straight to the Rebbe!

Straight to the Rebbe!

The 10th of Teves
is the day of the hilula of Reb Nosson of Breslev, the 163rd yartzeit of his passing to the world of truth.

Reb Nosson's passing was directly connected to the three tragedies that took place in Teves. Ezra was a scribe, he spread Torah among the Jews. Reb Nosson was Rebbe Nachman's scribe, he was the only of the Rebbe followers who worked constantly to spread his teachings as widely as possible. Even people who never met the Rebbe are aroused to serve Hashem through his writings, all because of Reb Nosson.

With the passing of the scribe there is a slackening in the spreading of Torah, as manifested in the translation of Torah into Greek - which obscured the deeper meaning of the Hebrew text. This corresponds to the imposition of secular studies and atheism on the Jews of our times. This heresy led to the siege of Jerusalem and exile, and corresponding to the infamous Russian Pale of settlement and the mass migration of eastern European Jewry, which began around the time of Reb Nosson's passing. It was not for nothing that Reb Nosson mentioned these three tragedies and to exhort his followers to "be strong with money, willpower and effort," and make sure to spread the teachings of the Rebbe (Parparaos leChokhmah 61:8).

Reb Nosson passed away on that Friday afternoon, 10th of Teves, 5605 (December 20, 1844), just moments after the Shabbos candles were lit. He was 64 years and 11 months old. Reb Nosson was totally attached to Hashem until the very end. His whole mission was to show that a man can always return to Hashem, regardless of anything he may have done, no matter how much he may have sinned. This was the mission Rebbe Nachman held out to him a few days after their frist meeting: to become the lower point of the aleph, to bring life, vitality and faith to all the lower levels. Even as he left this world, Reb Nosson was mindful of his mission, repeating again and again, "Chanun Hamarbeh lislo'ach" There is hope for all; Hashem will forgive! always!

Repentance and forgiveness for all of Israel were the very essence of Reb Nosson. The letters of the words "Chanun hamarbeh lislo'ach have the the numerical value of 500, the same as the letters of NoSSoN.
Reb Nosson Passed away just before Shabbos. those were the days before the invention of the telegraph, and it was impossible to transmit the news of his passing anywhere until after Shabbos. Even so, that Friday night Reb Naftali, who was in Uman, already knew that Reb Nosson was no longer. When asked how he knew, Reb Naftali answered: "I had a dream in which I saw Reb Nosson running quickly. I said,'Reb Nosson where are you running?' 'Me?' he said. 'Straight to the Rebbe'" may we merit to run also straight to our Rebbe Amen!

Sefirah

The Omer counting. Part I

Rebbe Nachman taught: The 49 days of Sefirat Ha'Omer correspond to the 49 gates of teshuvah, as I mentioned in a previous post. These 49 Gates, in turn, correspond to the 49 letters which make up the names of the 12 tribes of Am Israel. Thus, each tribe has individual gates for each of it's members, so that everyone can return to Hashem through his own gate. And then there is the 50TH Gate, the highest gate: SHAVOUT. This gate is, as it were, the TESHVUAH, "The Return", of Hashem.

The way for a person to to come to his individual gate is through the Tehillim. Thus, during the 49 days of Sefirah, as well as on all other days of repentance i.e. (The month of Elul, Rosh Hashannah), we should recite Psalms. This will be us to our gate of repentance. And by achieving this, we will merit purity and coming back to Hashem.

That these day are a most amenable time for reciting Psalms and repenting can be learned from the begining of the book of Shemos. The verse reads, "these are the names of the children of Israel who went down to Egypt; each man and his wife, they came." In Hebrew, the last letters of these words make up the words Tehillim and Teshuvah. The verses which follow then list the names of the Tribes (their 49 letters). They correspond to the 49 days of Sefirah, corresponding to the 49 Gates of Teshuvah (Likutey Moharan II, 73).

Shevi'i Shel Pesach

The Splitting of the Red Sea:

Rebbe Nachman taught: "Even if a person should fall to the lowest level, he must never assume that he is beyond hope."

Our forefathers found themselves in similar circumstances on the shores of Red Sea. Before them, the sea; behind them, the Egyptians; wild animals and wilderness on either side. In the worst possible situation they did not give up hope. They cried out to Hashem and were heard. Similarly, no matter how far one is from Hashem, there is still hope. Atik is the highest, most lofty spiritual level in existence (Etz Chaim, Sha'ar Atik).

It is from there that assistance comes to a person, even if he is to be found in the lowest levels. Thus, the miracle of splitting of the Red Sea can be summed up this way: even though all seems lost, there is still hope for a redemption (Likutey Moharan I, 21).

Reb Nosson teaches a further concept tied in with the splitting of the Red Sea is the breaking of haughtiness. Pharaoh said "Who is Hashem that I should listen to Him!" During this entire episode, Moshe Rabaynu tried to convince Pharaoh that Hashem rules the world and that He could destroy Pharaoh completely. However, the Egyptian ruler had declared himself a deity. Thus Pharaoh, like most people in a position of power, is characterized by arrogance and haughtiness. The splitting of the Red sea demonstrated how this arrogance could be completely broken. Moshe turned the sea bed into dry land. Earth is associated with the concept of modesty. Great rushing water, with it's powerful waves 'sure of it's strength and unchallenged power' is everything that a person views as the epitome of greatness. Yet, within a short period of time, Hashem destroyed the water's arrogance by changing it into dry earth. Thus the song that Moshe and the Jews sang when the red Sea split was one of praise to Hashem, for He is great and rules over all those who are arrogance and haughty (Likutey Halakhot, Orlah 4).

When the Jews left Egypt and came close to Hashem, they received great wealth. This is because wealth is rooted in the same source of holiness as the soul. However, there is one bad trait through which it is possible for a person to lose all his wealth. This trait is ANGER. When the opposing forces see that a person is about to receive wealth and blessings, they try to bring him to anger. CHeMaH, anger, creates a breach in his CHoMah, his protective wall, which is also his wealth (Likutey Moharan I,68).

It is forbidden to eat Chametz on Pesach, for chametz is the concept of anger. Chametz rises. Like arrogance and anger, it's blown up. Likewise, we must avoid exaggeration in our lifestyles. The way we live should not be arrogant and blown up. When the Red Sea split, the waters stood like a wall (chomah) for the Jews. Afterwards, the Jews were able to withstand any anger (chemah) and were permitted to have Chametz. This is why, after the Seventh Day of Pesach (in Israel, the eighth day outside of Israel) Chametz is permitted (Likutey Halakhot, Harsha'ah 4).

B'tiual and Emunah

In this time of S'fras HaOmer we have to start with emunah and reach the point of bitual. each one of us has to count s'firah HaOmer, we cant like other mitzvot be included or kavened like being included in Hamotzi or asking someone to be a sheliach for us. We ourselves, and no one else have to count and be included, as an individual we our selves must elevate our self level by level each day that we count to rectify the defects that we have caused with our lack of faith. Lack of emunah, it's self is the shoresh of all sins. Mikvah is essential to this process to take a mikvah everyday during s'firah HaOmer. As we pass through these gates and obtain new levels of B'tiual. Reaching hopefully to total nullification and reception of the Toarh of truth on vav Sivan. "We will do!!! "and then "we will hear"???. Remez!! (hint hint) Total commitment to emunah and thus achieving total b'tiual.

Now know that it is impossible to come to B'tiual and closeness to Hashem with out emunah but know that with out b'tiual it is impossible to come to emunah. In this lies the question where to start. Well its hard to subdue the ego and the yeitzer harah to become bitiual, so we must first have emunah, as our emunah increases, then we have to become more b'tiual, the more b'tiual we become the more emunah is increased, the more emunah we have the more we have to be b'tiual. we repeat this pattern til we reach Ein Sof, and finish our tikun. "hopefully in this life in this goof". amen, We just have to 'tishtof l'daat shelcha me akol demionot' you have to just wash your knowledge of all it fantasies, all of its preconceived ideas.

Wake up to the fact that you are just a guest in this world, and your just passing through! you see a guest doesn't worry about food or for that matter anything he just receives from his host and is thankful for what he receives. Ao if you a guest of the Kadosh One Blessed be His Name for ever, what are you in need of?

I'll tell you..... A THANKFUL HEART!!!!! Just be thankful and receive from his hand all that you need, you see receiving is b'tiual and emunah is asking and trusting that you'll receive. You can't have one without the other! You have to have emunah to receive the next level, and be b'tiual to the last level, its the way of ascending. Trusting in the Tzaddik in being B'tiual to the Tzaddik then you can increase you emunah in Hashem. Also I have never completed the counting, with a bracha. As there has always been a mistake, and then depression and giving up on countingt all together. But year this Hashem willing i'll make it. As i was very b'simcha on purim, as Rebbenu says ". But I understood something very high yesterday It's very important to continue to count even without a bracha. It's true, t'shuvah to contine, if we stop after a mistake then we've lost. We have to overcome this and continue. "this is the importance of B'tiual"...!

From Rebbe Nachman's Likutey Eztot (Advice), Pesach:
The days of the month of Nissian are days of repentence like those of Tishrei. Nissian embodies the concept of Tikun HaBrit, gaurding the Holy covenant. When you are joyous you can draw the spirit of Nissian, it's joy and holiness, into the whole year. Thus you can make amends for the abuse of Covenant, and you will avoid impure exeriences by night (Likutey Mohsaran II, 5:10). The Haggadah which we recite on Pesach is a tikkun for the Covenant. The reason why it
it is recitied aloud is because the voice arouses Da'at, the knowledge of Hashem. So by reciting the Haggadah aloud we can experience a revelation of ture Da'at. Da'at itself the essence of redemption, beause the exile in Egypt came about through the abuse of the holy Covenant, which brought about a distortion of Da'at. The wine of the four cups which we drink on the frist nights of of pesach is also a tikun for da'at and for the Holy covenant. (likutey Moharan I, 20:10). and during Pesach when you pray (hitbedot) you should cry out loud.

Through the joy we have on Purim, 'clapping of hands and dancing, we are able to fulfill the mitzvah of counting the omer properly. then we are able to receive the torah on shavout, both the revealed and hidden Torah. Each day of the Omer period is associated with a different aspect of the sefirot. Remez (hint) and on that day everything which everyone in the world is talking about is purely an expression of the particular aspect with which that day is associated. "a person with understanding can hear and recognize this if he pays attention to what peopple are saying.

The 49 days of of the Omer period correspond to the 49 gates of repentence, and these in turn correspond to the 49 letters in the hebrew names of of the 12 tribes. It is though these letters and gates that we must make our return to G-D Almighty. Festival of Shavuot is the 50th gate.
This is the gateway of Hashem's "repentence" When Hashem Himself returns, as it were. That is to say, He returns to us in love. It is possible to reach all these gates and open them by reciting the psalms. You should be careful to concentrate when you recite the Psalms. Then you will be able to reach all 49 gates. During the 49 days of counting the Omer we have to cleanse ourselves of impurity and return to Hashem. Then Hashem will return to us on Shavuot (Likutey Moharan II, 73). Thus we should immerse ourselves every day of the Omer in repentence. When we immerse in the Mikvah on Shavuot (predawn after learnning all night) we are connected with the highest levels of Hashem's lovingkindness and abundant mercy, and we can attain awesome levels of perception of Hashem. The illumination which radiates on shavuot is supremely extreme. And this wisdom is it self an expression of Hashem's lovingkindness and mercy. For love is bound up with wisdom and preception, as is explained elsewhere. It is a wonderful thing to experience the Kadoshness of Shavuot, and in particular the Mikvah of Shavuot- THE MIKVAH OF THE 50TH GATE- which becomes the wellspring of Holiness and purity for Israel (likutey Moharan I, 56:7).

Now is a very good time to start to get up and recite Tikun Chatztot, one thing the time just changed, and we have only to say Tikun Leah we don't say Tikun Rachael. so its much shorter. let's make fresh commitment to rise and say this important tefillas.

Rules of the tikun abbreviated:
"tikun rachael is only said on days when tachanun is recited. Tikun Leah is recited even on days when tachanun is not recited- Shabbos, Yom Tov, including Chol HaMoed , Rosh codesh, the entire month of Nissian, pesach Sheni, Lag B'Omer, Rom rosh chodesh Sivan until 7 days after Shavuot, 15 Av, from erev Yom Kippur until the eand of the month of Tishri, chanukah, T'bu Shevat, Purim and Shushan Purim. tisha b'Av only tikun Rachael is said. neither should be said after dawn ( Ben Is Chai, 9)

Come on join me, together we can do it, if we just try we can live a life that is connected and fulfilling, know for sure that, you have nothing to lose but alittle sleep, but if not, maybe a blessing?

Erev Rosh Chodesh in Meron

There is so much I could write on this one trip to Rasbi, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, zt"l. It was intense to say the least. I was joined by a friend and student, Uzi. We had unbelievable experiences more than than once, as we just kept getting the same message, "rok zerok l'sekel shelcha" - just throw away all your preconceived notions.

Like two little children we set out, and what a journey it was. We came to receive a blessing for me, "a refuah" (a healing), and to ask for a special blessing for the new month. We came away with a lot more.

As Erev Rosh Chodesh is Yom Kippur Katon (the beginning of a new month is like a small Yom Kippur), we can wipe clean the slate from last month and start anew.

We rode up from the Shomron (West Bank) in the rain and cold, catching rides (Israeli style). This is my personal favorite way to travel as I always ask Hashem to bring me people to speak to about emunah (faith). I'm getting a ride, they're getting a shiur in Torah, no choice as I just can't shut up about G-d and my Rebbe and how he has changed my life. For me, it's so natural and it just flows.

Every ride was a blessing and a part of the emunah lifestyle, and everyone we spoke to received a blessing. We relate to each as family, and people are just not used to this. They ask, "Are all you guys like this? Alive and energized?" I say chalavei! (We fervently wish!)

One adventure after another (that's another story!) and we arrived at the Kever (Tomb) of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai zt"l. Only then did the plane really begin to leave the runway! WOW!!! Everyone from the rebbe ashir b'Torah to the most simple beggar said the same thing! Just throw your sechel (intellect) and just trust in Hashem. I mean everyone!

We met a tzaddik who took us on a trek behind the tomb, hiking around the hills to the cave of Hillel HaZakain, the great Hillel the Elder, zt"l. We were not sure what was about to happen, even began to get nervous at entering a cave with the fellow. But what a blessing! This guy just started giving us Torah like you would not believe. There was one confirmation after another, WOW! We exchanged numbers and prayer requests, Reb Shimon ben Miriam want a zivug (marriage partner), so I promised to pray for him everyday and I look forward to dancing at his wedding very soon, may it be His will!

We trekked back around the hill to the mikvah by the kever, to purify ourselves and say Tikun Klali (the spiritual repair of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov). There energy there like Uman! As we finished and left to go outside for cup of tea, I ran into the Melitzer Rebbe (literally, bump!) Bli ayin hara, ben porat yosef, a very special tzaddik who I had come to see, to give a pidyon nefesh (a soul request) and recieve a bracha (blessing) for a refuah shalayma (a completely recovery). All I can express is...Wow. He had come with Rabbi Lazer Brody of Lazer Beams.

After spending a few precious minutes with this special man of G-d, my friend Uzi and I merited to have some private time with Rabbi Brody on the side of the hill. Ahh, the the cream of the trip. Torah, words of praise of Hashem and the prayers of old soldiers were shared! G-d willing, I should merit to write another post just to tell you some of we learned on the side of the hill by Rashbi in Meron.

Nachman and/with Menachem

This is not simple, we have much to understand.

First if our minds are disconnected from true emunah faith, this has and will always, lead us to apikorses (heresy). We have defective mochin (intellects). Yes, everyone, all of us, who have not yet come to the place of basic emunah (faith) can't even begin to understand what going on in his own personal life, yet alone what's happening in the world around him.

Basic level Emunah is this: EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE WORLD IS ALL FROM HASHEM. "From the multiplication of single celled amoeba to earth shaking events that effect universe. All ...All, every little bump, scrape, word through deed. All of them, up to the cosmic events of asteroids hitting planets. It's all from Hashem. We call that... Divine providence, Hashcachah. I'm speaking very general here as we could go much deeper.

In practice this means that when ever something/one comes to upset us we should let emunah proceed our intellect. The first thought has to be emunah before the brains can lie to us, "that such and such or so and so did this". Emunah says this is B"H just what Hashem wants and it is the best thing for my tikun (my soul needs).

Ahh, now we touch on the reality of situation. Answer this question: What is my mission, why was I sent here? Am I here just to live 70-80 years breathing, eating, doing, and wanting? NO!!! I have been sent here on a special mission from the throne room of Hashem. My neshoma, my essence, my soul is here in this body at this moment to make repairs, tikunim.

This is why I like The Matrix metaphor so much, as when we get to this place, we are just waking up to the desert of the real. I'm not here to just find pleasure and work like a dog, I'm here to fix what I can, the quicker the better. I'm going deeper into these issues on my new blog Project Emunah, and there is a great book by Rabbi Shalom Arush shlita, translated by Rabbi Lazer Brody shlita, The Garden of Emuna.

Anyway, I said I wanted to blow your minds. Ok, I'm still looking for the source, but I heard a midash on parshas Noah that says like this. There was a maclohet in Shamayim, they couldn't decide what to name Moshiach, Menachem or Nachman? So they deceided that it would take both!

In these days just prior to the day of Moshiach our National Emunah is waning. This is why it is so so important to start to exercise it, and to build it in one another. That's why we need not only to get people to put on tefillin and shake a lulav (this is good and we should continue). Rather we need to reach out to one another and increase each other's emunah, and natural by product will be the mitzvot. When we speak out loud about emunah, 'The Yeitzer hates this' the whole world becomes clearer, cleaner and brighter. Emunah can be increased and given even to those who don't want it! YES.................. That's right, I just gave you a gift and you can't refuse it, you're stuck with it, B"H.

Shalom, Reb. Nati

Kiddush Lavanah

Rebbe Nachman taught us not to wait to make Kiddush Lavanah.
This is the frist time this month in Eli that the moon has shone her face.
Like a Bride behind her vail waiting for her groom. With our Emunah we wait on the shekinah to be reunited Hashem.

"Emunah" Faith

"We have to tremble with fear when considering G-d's greatness. The whole world is filled with His Glory!" Rebbe Nachman repeated this to us manny times. He wanted to instill in us a feeling for G-d's greatness and a feeling for how much faith we ought to have in Him. (Tzaddik #414)
